Accessible Furniture

If a student travels by wheelchair or scooter, is of short stature, or has other physical limitations, the assigned classroom seating may not be usable. An adjustable height table or alternate furniture may be required. Responsibilities are as follows:

Instructor
  • The DSO has requested that accessible furniture be placed in your classroom.
  • If accessible furniture is not located in your classroom, please contact the Classroom Hotline at 515-1555 for University classrooms, the departmental office for other rooms, and Amy Circosta, Assistant Vice Provost and ADA Coordinator.
Student
  • Contact the instructor, the Building Liaison, and Amy Circosta, Assistant Vice Provost and ADA Coordinator, if accessible furniture is not available for use.
